Refund Policy
Usage-based services are consumed as you use them. This policy sets out clearly when a refund is and isn’t available, so there are no surprises.
Overview
Grokified is a prepaid API service operated by DEEPORAX AI LTD: you add credit to your account and usage is drawn from your balance as you consume it. Because charges reflect computational usage that has already been delivered by the upstream provider, consumed usage is generally non-refundable. Unused prepaid credit is refundable as set out below. Nothing in this policy affects statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
Prepaid balance refunds
If you have added prepaid credit to your account and have not consumed it, you may request a refund of the unused balance within 30 days of the top-up. We refund the unused portion to your original payment method. Promotional or bonus credits, where granted, are not redeemable for cash and are not refundable.
Consumed usage
API usage that has been processed, measured in tokens and reflected in your usage logs, is non-refundable, because the corresponding cost has already been incurred upstream. This includes usage generated by your own software, scripts, or agents, and usage incurred under a compromised API key that you did not secure.
The introductory discount
The 50% introductory discount is applied automatically to eligible usage at the time of billing. It has no cash value, cannot be paid out as a refund, and cannot be transferred between accounts. If a refund of a charge is issued, any discount applied to that charge is reversed proportionally.
Billing errors
If you believe you have been charged in error, for example, a duplicate charge, a metering fault on our side, or downtime that prevented usage you were billed for, contact us within 60 days of the invoice date. If we confirm the error, we will correct it and refund or credit the difference.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can resolve the issue directly, it is almost always faster. Chargebacks raised without first contacting us may result in suspension of your account pending resolution.
How to request a refund
Email billing@grokified.com from the address on your account, including your account ID, the invoice or transaction reference, and a short description of the request. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity and the charge.
Processing time
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days. The time for funds to appear depends on your bank or card provider. Refunds are made in the original currency of the charge.
